Microsoft Office 2010

What is Microsoft Office 2010?

Microsoft Office 2010 is an office suite of desktop applications, servers and services. Microsoft also positions Office as a development platform for line-of-business software under the Office Business Applications brand. Office is reported to now be used by over a billion people worldwide. Most versions of Microsoft Office use their own widget set and do not exactly match the native operating system. Both Windows and Office use Service Packs to update software. Office 2010 includes extended file format support, user interface updates, and a changed user experience. Office 2010 marks the debut of free online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, which work in the web browsers Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari, but not Opera. Office 2010 is more "role-based" than previous versions. There are features tailored to employees in "roles such as research and development professionals, sales people, and human resources."
