Remove Skype 3.0

Skype 3.0 is a software program developed by Skype Technologies. It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named skype.exe. The setup package generally installs about 8 files and is usually about 28.35 MB (29,728,993 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 and Windows 7 (SP1). While about 17% of users of Skype come from India, it is also popular in BD and the United States.

• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Skype.
