The Digital Line Detection program monitors the modem to make sure that the phone line is a standard analog phone line. Plugging into a digital phone line could cause damage to the modem.The purpose of this application is to provide a warning before damage occurs.
Overview
Digital Line Detect is a software program developed by BVRP Software, Inc. The most common release is 1.21, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). How do I remove Digital Line Detect?
