Overview
Browser Extensions is a software program developed by Spigot. The most common release is 2.4, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. It adds a Browser Helper Object (BHO) to Internet Explorer. Once installed, it will add an extension to both the Firefox and Chrome web browsers. The primary executable is named couponshelper.exe. Many users end up uninstalling this after less than a month of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 57 files and is usually about 3.34 MB (3,497,511 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 45% of users of Browser Extensions come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and United Kingdom.
